Teng Wang 

Teng Wang is a curator, artist and architect based in London and Beijing. His practice spans curating, stage set, film, performance, drawing, publication, installation, sculpture and architecture.

As a curator, his practice focuses on contemporary art, art film, and ceramics, and project across the UK, China and Singapore, and beyond. He is also engaged in stage set design and artist residency programs. His artworks and artist publications have been presented at Tate Modern and other galleries.

As an architect, He worked for nearly four years at MAD Architects, AECOM, and Vector Architects in roles including architect, site architect, and project architect. He has worked on projects for theatre, cultural center, museum, etc, such as Aranya project, taking on roles in design, team leadership, construction and client communication.

His work explores how politics and collective narratives intersect with personal and everyday experiences.

Teng Wang Studio

Teng Wang Studio is an art, curating, spical and social practice individual studio founded in 2023 by Teng Wang. Its practice bases in London and Beijing. It includes an architect studio, OrA office in London, and other studio as research and social practice project, like London street study group. Its multipual collective across field and extend the boundry between the different projects. 

In We advance a synthetic approach to design that encompasses emerging technologies, semantic analysis, and behavioral research alongside traditional architectural techniques. Our practice is driven by the study of contemporary sociocultural dynamics and we are committed to precision at all stages of production, from ideation to afterlife.

Sub comprises practitioners from a variety of disciplines, organized into four departments that operate in close collaboration with each other: Architecture, Entertainment, Digital, Research. Our collective expertise exceeds the conventional boundaries of architecture. Research is intrinsic to our operations, including broad inquiries across a range of fields, spanning the humanities to novel fabrication techniques. This enables us to design holistically, across spatial and temporal scales, integrating diverse media and materials.

What unifies our practice is a dedication to supporting the vision and identity of our clients, composed of leading figures across cultural and commercial fields. Sub is a global operation, with projects across Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Our network of collaborators, from suppliers to consultants, facilitates efficient project development and sensitivity to regional differences.
