Temporal Chronicle is a performance object and drawing lasting 8 hours. The memory of ruins emerges from traces left by the repeated marking of time. This time-based drawing examines
the process of temporal notation through an eight-hour perfor- mance. Using a blade to methodically carve repetitive scratches, the artist documents duration as a daily ritual. The eight-hour duration corresponds to the daily time, with personal narratives and psychological shifts encoded in the evolving depth and inten- sity of the marks, culminating in the paper’s rupture.

The work invites viewers to closely observe the traces of ero- sion. Through this sustained act of attention, mundane temporal patterns are reimagined as a form of poetic archaeology, where cyclical processes of creation and decay mold both environmen- tal and individual cultural narratives.
