The paper sculpture archives the empty apartment buildings in China. Economic growth has long depended on real estate development and endless construction. By stacking the thousands of image of China’s empty buildings, It reflects the non-stop construction in China, and repetition of context. It also suggests collapse through floor-by-floor, and provide an image of flipping through an archive model of witness sculpture.
